10 Has-beens That Deserve Another Shot

10 Apr

‘Scream 4’ is coming out this week, and if you’ve seen the trailer you’ve probably noticed a few botox-bloated celebs you haven’t seen in a while. This delayed installment in the quadrilogy is no doubt letting these has-beens breathe a little easier. We think there are other actors out there who are also deserving of another opportunity. Here’s a list of 10 stars we’d like to see back in the movies.

1.Jason Lively

What about the Asian or South American tour?

2.Phoebe Cates

One more, for old time’s sake?

3. Steve Guttenberg

What about one more round of the Gutes before closing time?

4.Paul Hogan

Though we wouldn’t watch a Crocodile Dundee film, we would approve of it.

5.Kevin Bacon

Put him in some movies, so he doesn’t have to do any more of those heartbreaking commercials.

6.Peter Ostrum

He’s a veterinarian now, and has no interest in acting, but the world needs his angelic wonder right about now.

7.William Atherton

Although His Joggingness has recently appeared on ‘Lost’, we’d like to see back him on the big screen where he belongs.

8.Michael Cimino (Director)

He directed ‘The Deerhunter’, but every film since has been utterly unremarkable. We think he’s got one more in him.

9.Dean Cameron

“B-movie footnote, or legacy?”

10.Joan Fontaine

She’s 93 and a retired screen legend (so not a has-been) but we think ‘Rebecca 2’ could be pretty neat.

+1 for Dean Cameron. A fabulous actor who simply needs an equally fabulous vehicle to showcase his talent.

What about Booger from Revenge of the Nerds? Poor Booger.
